LAoS means "Light AWT over Swing". LAoS is a module which implements
AWT peers in Swing (instead of using native components). Doing so, the
standard widgets like Button, TextArea, ... found in java.awt.* appear
like Swing widgets and can be used in a JDesktopPane.
